We want our memberships to be simple, valuable and easy to use. The following terms help ensure every member receives consistent service and understands how their membership works.
1. Membership Term
All memberships for the current membership season are valid through June 30, 2027. Unused sharpening visits or other membership benefits do not carry forward beyond the membership expiry date.
2. Individual Memberships
Each membership is assigned to one individual player and may only be used for that player’s skates. Memberships cannot be shared, transferred or used to sharpen skates belonging to another player.
3. Skate Sharpening
Membership includes skate sharpening for the registered player, up to a maximum of one sharpening per day during the membership term.
Sharpenings cannot be accumulated, transferred or used for another player.
4. Skate Guards & Laces
Each membership includes:
- One complimentary pair of skate guards
- Up to three pairs of white, waxed replacement skate laces during the membership term
Laces are intended as replacements when the player’s existing laces become worn and will be replaced as needed.
If the complimentary skate guards are lost, a replacement pair may be purchased for $20.
5. Additional Household Members
Additional household members may be added for $99 each, matching the membership originally purchased.
Each additional household member receives their own individual membership and the same membership benefits, including sharpening up to once per day, one complimentary pair of skate guards and up to three pairs of white, waxed replacement skate laces.
Each household membership is assigned to the individual player and cannot be shared or transferred.
6. Refunds & Season-Ending Injuries
Memberships are non-refundable except when the registered player suffers a season-ending injury that prevents them from participating for the remainder of the season.
In this circumstance, Rutland Arena Skate Shop will provide a prorated refund based on the unused portion of the membership term.
Rutland Arena Skate Shop may request reasonable confirmation of the season-ending injury.
7. Shop Hours & Availability
Membership sharpening is available during regular Rutland Arena Skate Shop operating hours and is subject to shop availability.
Shop hours may change for holidays, arena events, tournaments or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Membership Misuse
Rutland Arena Skate Shop reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership if it is shared, transferred, used for another player’s skates or otherwise intentionally misused.
Our goal is always to handle situations reasonably and fairly.
